And, shifts in very interesting ways with the light. You can see in pics 2 and 7 that it even produces a small rainbow at certain angles due to the crystalline structure of meteorite.... I'm thinking of pairing it with a more casual greyish textile strap ...
It's a wonderful piece of high horology. Wind the watch 40 turns of the crown, set the time to the second, and wearing it for a week straight, every day. Mainly, I want to see if the watch stops - micro rotors aren't that efficient and sometimes the watch...
I'll do exactly that, I'm scheduled to work the next 6 days in a row, roughly 11 hours each day. I'll let you know when the watch stops. I did read the 40 turn of the crown rule in the manual, this is turning without pulling the crown out??....
bespoke strap makers since I want it to have a pale blue color stitch to match the dial tones, and possibly an interesting color on the backside lining as well.... We'll see, I haven't ordered custom straps before so I don't have a manufacturer preference...
From Kristjan's thorough experience, these are the additional ones where it's clear they offer a compelling array of textile options.... All to be thoroughly researched over the next several days.... ...
The lugs are truly gorgeous, few can compete on that end, they evoke a comparable impression to the best from VC in my opinion.... Thanks a bunch for looking and chiming in! Cheers, Filip
It's a cohesive, beautifully packaged timepiece. And, fortuitously, not particularly expensive compared to my other preferences in the same category like the 1921 .... Cheers, Filip
It's by some margin the nicest wristwatch I have ever had. It decisively plays in league with the 'big boys' from AP, VC, PP at a 3x 'discount'. I plan on getting a high quality textile strap for it in order to 'wring out' the chameleon-like nature of the...
I completely agree with you. In fact, the 2 PF I own play at higher level, in my most honest opinion. I'm so happy for you, enjoy it in best of health!!
Iβm very glad itβs finally on your wrist. It really is a complete package - an intriguing dial and a wonderful movement. I love a good micro-rotor. Much enjoyment - as you might say! All the best, Jon
Great find, congrats, all sides of this watch are drool worthy. The grey strap idea too is spot on, please donβt forget to send pics when you receive the new strap.
The formal alligator strap pigeon-holes the look of the timepiece as a strictly formal one when the design is objectively far more versatile than that. I sincerely appreciate your comments, I'll definitely post pictures when I change the strap! Cheers, Fi...
Notwithstanding it being in titanium, still find the weight super amazing, all just 41g with the case, movement, strap, buckleβ¦ BTW, do you have a soundclip of the pronunciation π
providing enough energy to the mainspring. The dial on mine is a gray-brown and the watch came on brown leather so the AD said they'd throw in a second gray strap. They chose Jean Rousseau who was wonderful to work with as this turned out to be challengin...
being a precious metal, and JR is definitely among the top contenders for my upcoming custom strap order. I'm surprised your comes on a deployant buckle, I was under the impression all of these were deliberately paired with a pin buckle in order to make i...
It isn't out of the question for me to do the same at some point, especially since I am inclined to wear this version during certain high-activity situations....
