Two days ago, homeward bound to Geneva, we have had the pleasure to visit one of the nicest French village whose name is Collonges-la-Rouge
Collonges the Red (as I could translate it) is known for its red stone houses which are absolutely stunning and well preserved.
Unfortunately for us, it was a cloudy and very cold day. Here are few pictures. Hope you'll enjoy them and, if you can visit the center of France, try to stop there.

There's no specific cheese with this village but as this village is in Corrèze, the main cheese (well known) coming from there is the "Ovalie" (sheep's milk and may be a link with rugby) and the "Pavé corrézien" (cow's milk). Below, two respective shots o...
