Watch of the Day: Jaeger Lecoultre Master Compressor Navy SEALs Alarm.
The NSA is not a watch I wear a lot all along the year, but in the summer, it is one which I enjoy a lot, for its rough bad boy look, its presence on the wrist.
An old picture, taken 2 years ago:
Another detail I like a lot on this watch is that it takes some elements of design from the past, such as the dial of the Polaris and Deep Sea Alarm Europe, and the 2 crowns configuration of the Deep Sea Alarm.
It is not a Tribute, it is an evocation of the Manufacture History. Or, if you prefer, it is a Tribute to the Past of the Manufacture, expressed in a modern way.
And at that game, Jaeger Lecoultre is not bad at all.
The other big point is that with its titanium grade 5 case, the watch doesn't weight a lot, despite its dimensions. ( 44 mm case, circa 15 mm high ).
And, last but not least, this is a zero fear watch: You can ding it, it resists. You can go to swim, its compressors crowns will insure its water resistance. I was fearing that the rubber coated crowns would suffer with time passing, but they resist.
A good fellow!
And... A Memovox!
Best,
Nicolas
