Apparently the current era brings more complicated pieces to many fans, chronographs of the finest steel, mushroomed platinum pieces, ….

That's good news for the lucky ones! 

Still we won't all get them, some will be pleased with simpler watches.

Of course we all want the complicated pieces, the most complicated pieces, for good reasons!

Do we all want these pieces? Is anybody cold?

Celestial simplicity

In fact it seems obvious that the finish is also on top on these pieces, to a level higher than the one encountered on simple models. The architecture of complicated calibres is also a source of higher finish.  Then it may be difficult to go back to simple calibres that can appear to be boring!

On the contrary we can't spend our time looking at calibres, or pushing the repeater lever!

We can also hope to find simple calibres so well regulated that they can do as good as a tourbillon everyday.

You want to use your jocker and call the split second to help you stay in the complicated world.

Still the thing is that you can't live with such a watch everyday.

I have no idea of what it must be to wear one of the most beautiful and exquisite watches of the world when wanted.

Perhaps the most beautiful calibre ever (just lacking the column cover)

I in fact would like one of us to tell us what it is to wear such a watch !

So you can get better than this one now!

I would like to know if there's really a top you can reach and then rest?

That's slim

Because I fear that whatever the watch you get you can always hope for another one!

So finally this one is thick (or just thicker)

I also hope that some can rest with a simple watch, take enough pleasure with it, and have this pleasure lastingly not frustrated by the wish to go elsewhere!
