… but I love the black bumpers on this particular version. I agree that they don’t work as well on the gold or platinum versions - or the earlier models in other metals. However, I can’t help but think that the lack of them and the fitting of the plate in... 

And enjoy them equally but I did wish that they kept the black bumper at 9 o'clock and the black crown. Those two pieces just look off in shiny chrome. ...
