Yeas the Lune in a completely different piece. More romantic as you say. My preference goes the the RDM though. (I own one) and honestly it took me a long time to “get it”. All the empty real estate on the dial was first what made me dislike it. Funnily enough that is exactly the part I have come to appreciate about it. The void of the composition. It does help that mine has a beautiful shimmering texture of gold and this is enhanced most in the RDM. It’s the most pure. Just as one wouldn’t add more to the dial of the CB.

I’m curious to see the texture of the dial. It looks quite granular in the press release.
This is clearly a hommage to the original but it is not an exact copy- can you spot the differences?

no, not really.
The only thing I was very strict about was NO polishing. I feel quite strongly about this point!

I didn't ask them to NOT polish. Now I wonder if I have some Platinum that got polished away... But still, it's great you didn't get your seconds hand swapped out. Hope you can continue to keep yours intact for as you keep passing yours down the next 10 g...

I'm surprised it's 10mm thick. FPJ's watches usually look rather thin in person. One of the many reasons why I like them so much!

Both of these are so charming. Collectors who are going to get the new limited edition are so lucky. I applied but highly unlikely to get. Really love the yellow gold dial. Absolutely unique to Journe.
