You are quite right about that depth of color. I think it’s what gives a feeling of quality. Many straps today are tanned in a way that makes the leather quite “flat” and to homogenous.

I always struggle with single leaf deployants so the butterfly double deployant on the DeLugs CTS straps are perfect and easy to size. The mid grey strap goes well for most uses - but I did get the olive green and navy ones too 😊
