It is always interesting to hear other peoples journeys in to this crazy hobby. I’m very impressed with your taste. It’s not often Journe is a first love. It’s usually something more mainstream. I agree about the feeling of specialness. Learning about the Resonance was a jaw dropping moment for me (my absolute favorite). They’re different in the quirky layout of using shrinking numbers, asymmetrical dials. The gold dials and the CB used to really stand out from the herd. Especially 12 years ago. It sounds like we have very similar taste. My grail is the T30 for the crazy dial. I’ve been lucky to see a T10 once and it is INCREDIBLE. sadly, doubt a T30 will happen with the latest auction prices. I came close to one in GVA in 2019 but it sadly slipped. I would love to add a CT black label is my favorite or a CTS like the one our member Jay owns. It would be a great mix in my more classic collection.
It’s a great brand as someone once said here on this forum with Journe you don’t just want one - you want a collection of them. And you can find your own approach to how you do it.
