Hello! First time on the FPJ Forum, wanted to get some opinions/reviews on the CS. Particularly looking at the Havana and the Blue. Would love to hear some thoughts and get some guidance ...  

I had it in rose gold white dial and found it a little bland over time. These two would stick with me.

What pushed you to sell it?

going on with a watch. It was just too plain? I actually bought and sold it 3 times. So I did like it. It just never stuck

Never owned a Journe, and likely never will (be able to), but I think the Havana has far more visual interest (and will likely be more versatile). Either one, of course, is wonderful. Congrats to finding yourself in such a predicament. 🥳

To begin with, these two Journe dials are, for me, the best of the best. So there’s no wrong decision. If you find yourself in Paris out for the night, definitely the blue dial. If you’re on deck in the tropics off Anguilla, definitely the brown dial. Jus... 

I’m in a hotter climate usually so the Havana might be more fitting

I have platinum that I love. It looks very different with various straps and I love its versatility. If I had to pick between these two I would choose platinum with blue dial. ...

To me, both are very cold watches. But if I had to chose one in PT then it’s the blue dial. It’s also the more versatile watch and so perhaps you’ll get more wrist time with it. Personally I think both dials are better in the rose gold cases. Much warmer ... 

Hence why I’m trying to go for one right now, but I do agree that the rose gold does suit the Havana slightly better

You can’t go wrong with either, but the Havana color is more unique. Almost every brand makes blue dial pieces. The blue is also the newest CS color, so it is less likely to be discontinued than the Havana, should that ever happen. Ultimately, ask for the...  

I can’t think of another brand doing one at the top of my head, or one that’s as notable/memorable as this

I think a lot of good advice has been given here already so I will just add that you should go to the boutique to see and try them. The best way to find YOURS is to feel it on the wrist. Also to see how it aligns with your personal style and look. Bottom ...

This is easy...the blue CS. As typical with Journe he fixes issues over time. The first is that the Havana crystal washes the dial with an blue tint. Blue interacting over medium brown makes for a bad mix. (akin to the color of baby poop, as an old art te...
