I only ever had one Panerai but sold it when they became too popular. It made too much of a statement. However, recently I ’ve actually been toying with the idea of getting just one. They would have to become more convincing about products quality after the many scandals. What was your impression on the novelties?

Haha, that’s a view many will share.
With $150k of fresh clean cash, the CB would not be a watch I’d buy. Nor would a 5711, 5712 or any flavour of Nautilus. As for the 5270, nope. I’d go elsewhere with $$$ too.
