A healthy breakfast is the foundation of health - and French butter is not in short supply here

 

Reading the reports of acute butter shortages in France (and wondering at the French average annual consumption of 8kg/person) I am happy (bit of a guilty pleasure) to say that French butter is still available in all its forms over here. 


Catching up on my food posts a bit after the longer absence, here's today's breakfast. 

Ham from Spain, cheese from Südtirol and Austrian corned beef. Well I guess the last one may not be the typical choice... But it was the first time in my life I've had corned beef and while I had no idea what to expect, I am convinced that this variety is definitely nice (comparison testing to follow). The rest were known quantities, so no surprises there smile




As I am currently exploring the vintage Seiko world, here a Grammar of Design cheese on bread arrangement wink




And last but not least, no meal is complete without an accompanying watch, so here the Zenith Cronometro Tipo CP-2 P15 as my Sunday wrist companion!
