I'm not crazy about corned beef, especially the way you are trying it, but everything else makes for a meal fit for a me. Watch included.

To do it properly you would have to come to NY.
It's sliced thin, piled high (1 1/2 inches high) on rye bread with as much mustard as you can stand. Served warm, also. And you have to have a Dr. Brown's Celery Soda or Black Cherry Soda to wash it down. And did I mention mustard?
I avoid cold cuts as much as I like them but what I learned here was 8Kg/Yr of butter consumption!!...
I have never quantified that but I m quite positive my intake is 24+Kg in pure butter on bread alone not counting the butter related products or butter used for cooking. Then there are oil, olive oil, mayo, cheese, crème, heavy crème and what not. I am do...
