On the way back after nice holidays, my wife, son and I have had the great pleasure to make a stop at Brive-la-Gaillarde in France to enjoy a very nice and unexpected lunch in a one Michelin Star restaurant.
It was a true great experience and a very nice discovery. But, above all, I take my hat off to the Chef who is alone in his kitchen to prepare such a meal for 18 people. Truly impressive.
Below few shots of the gastronomic menu. I hope they'll whet one's appetite 😉
Appetisers
Home made foie gras with summer truffles
Sea bass tartare and lobster
Monkfish and lobster raviole
Veal sweetbread (one of my favourite dish)...
... served with mashed potatoes with nutmeg foam
Cheese and salad
Mango dessert
Blackcurrant ice and macaron with violet flavour
And my personal touch with napkin rings 😁
Best wishes
