A couple of fresh shots of the Girard-Perregaux Gyrodate 9080 (on stones)
Every time I bring this one out, it gives me the smiles. The white dial Gyrodate Chronometer HF is not only rare but also very very attractive.
Unfortunately, soon(ish) I will have to part from it (for hopefully not too long) as it will need to go for service of the movement and get the right crown...

Sometimes stones, only sometimes
The Gyrodate works very sinmply. You rotate the bezel such that "1" is aligned with the Day of that date, then you can look up the Day/Date combination for the rest of the month. CC
