Regarding G-P not using celebrity endorsements for their watches, don't overlook the value of continuing PuristS' endorsements on this forum. 
I am sure the PuristSPro moderators manage to 'weed out' any purported sabotage by 'competitors'.

You are right, a strong backbone in movement making is very important for the long term prestige and survival of a watch company. Hope GP will get more recognition going forward.

so I guess GP are still following their own tag line of "watches for the few". I just hope it's the right approach when re-introducing the brand in the US and especially during current economic conditions.
