Gyromatic Date Setting
I have a G-P Gyromatic from about 1958-1958, I rotate it regularly along with others in my collection. When setting it to the correct date I have to rotate the hour hand a full 24 hours past midnight to advance the date, this gets to be a real pain if the date is more than a couple of days off. I have tried turning it past 2 AM and back to 10 AM as someone once told me to do but that only turns the date back to the previous date. Is this they way all of the early Gyromatics date is advanced?
