Gyromatic Date Setting
I have a G-P Gyromatic from about 1958-1958, I rotate it regularly along with others in my collection. When setting it to the correct date I have to rotate the hour hand a full 24 hours past midnight to advance the date, this gets to be a real pain if the...

But may also be that there is no "quick setting"... Depending on movement. If I remember well, the early once didn't have the quick set. Best Blomman

prior to midnight the date reverts to the previous day so at this point I am assuming it has no quickset feature. Sometimes I just wear it with the date set to whatever it was on when the watch used all of the power reserve.
Ah, yes. I have one like that and indeed, that means no quick set
so as you said, either leave the date at whatever or just wear it all the time
Or wait until the correct date occur!
