Tempted by a Vintage 1945 large date
Hi,
Since I tried back a few Vintage 1945 models at the last SIHH I keep thinking of getting one.
The variety of models makes it hard to choose a favourite (although a one bridge tourbillon would be ideal) and I'm still thinking.
There's one model though that appeals me a lot.
We've not seen it much and I missed the only time it was posted here:

I'd be tempted to read your views about this model if you own one, or any differing proposal for a Vintage 1945 in steel or pink gold on strap, be it equipped with a large date, or being a 2599 column wheel chronograph, a off centered enamel dial one, or any other.
Any owner of this one?
Cheers
Dje

Hi Nicolas, Indeed we 're not in the same situation. The 2599 is a very tempting option but I'm annoyed by the fact that the chrono central second ring is cut twice by the counters. I'm more looking at simpler options (25805, 25835) or a off-centered (tha...

Hi Nicolas, A perpetual calendar with EOT would not be bad either (although it's alarger case). The 99850 is a favourite of mine, i white gold with cream dial would be perfect, but that's another story. A simple large date would be more "probable"! Cheers...

Hi Dje, How are you? I sold the one I had which was the stainless steel model with the blue dial. It was a very pretty watch but I needed the money and I found that the watch was way too reflective for my taste. The hands are finished in polished steel wh...
