Thank you, Madam
This forum is privileged to have a lady, who is highly knowledgeable about vintage-watches.
In view of the small production run, little wonder I have not come across any article entitled, 'How to spot a fake or franken Girard Perregaux divers watch', unlike that of Rolex or Omega. As such, the Girard Perregaux divers watch on my wrist is spot on, original. As a layman, at least I can wear it, with some peace of mind, knowing fully well it can never be a fake or fraken.
Apart from this, since this divers vintage watch is not popular, in view of the small production run and also, because it does not carry the mighty logo of Rolex or Omega, the vintage divers Girard Perregaux can be acquired at a fraction of the price of either Omega or Rolex. In short, it is a poor man's vintage divers watch, produced by one of the most established and finest watch houses from Switzerland.
Difficulty in re-selling it? Agreed. I do not think, anyone who owns this Girard Perregaux divers vintage watch will ever want to sell it, unless it is a fire-sale.

Thank you.
