Girard Perregaux

Thanks Larry ☀️ Candidly, it more than the

Havana dial. It’s also the balance of the dial proportions to the case, lugs, silver hands and applied Breguet numeral. Box sapphire crystal and yes, no date.

It’s made by the KING of GP, Gino Macaluso. He had raced and won in his Abarth. Special relationship a warrior has with his machine.

They waited for the relationship to end with Ferrari before having this special commission made of 50 pieces.

Looks aside, I’ve been trying sooooooo hard to help folks understand the special pieces made in the NEO-vintage period by the Macaluso family.

Beyond just looks and dial colors, there are opportunities to collect forever pieces with rarity, provenance ON TOP of looks.

I would like to see all who collect GP start to have more DEPTH to their collecting.

By all means, ooh and ah about the current production pieces. But if one ignores the GP Neo-vintage period, their collection is incomplete IMHO.
