The Equation of Time....
The equation of time measures the difference between the civil time, and the real solar time. This difference, due to the Earth’s elliptical orbit, varies between -16 and +16 seconds daily which makes a maximum annual difference of +14 and -16 minutes. The 24-hour day is the civil time which represents a compromise of the variation.
Hence the +/- 15 scale at 4 o'clock.

EOT... I see it a bit like an esoteric complication, to say all.
I love the idea, a lot. Now, I would display it a bit differently. I would give it more importance on the dial. Best, Nicolas

EOT displays the "End of Time". That would be a rather cosmological complication. Maybe they know something we don't...

That focus more on the EOT! :) I guess one problem is that the movement needs to be at least Annual Calendar for the EOT to work... And if you have an Annual Calendar, you want to show that... Best Blomman
