. . . to not cause offense, and certainly everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but would you use the same verbiage if a close friend bought a Pano XL? Granted that English may not be your native language, but there should be some way to express your displeasure without resorting to categorical attacks on Glashütte Original. I think that reasonable people can disagree without being unnecessarily offensive, and I hope you take my remarks as constructively as they are intended.
One of the great curiousities of the watch industry is that in the late 20th century the firms of Glashütte Original and A Lange & Sohne were recreated with immense sums of capital, certainly to make a profit, but also to continue the noble traditions of Saxonian watchmaking for those who can appreciate them. I, for one, am grateful that Mr Pfeiffer invested his time and money in rebuilding G O from scratch to offer watch fans and collectors the opportunity to own traditional German watches. The men and women who work for G O, from Dr Müller to the apprentice watchmakers, give their very best for the firm, and they deserve a modicum of respect for their efforts. Cordially, Art
