Fresh pictures of the G.O Senator Navigator Rimowa.

As promised, here are some fresh photos of my one and only one G.O, even if I must admit that I am thinking about adding a second one in my collection.

The " Rimowa ":

Why I love it so much:

First because there is no Rimowa signature on the dial or on the case back.

A Rimowa signature would have been a serious No Go ( sorry for the bad pun ) on this one.

Then, because of the very pure, clean and sober dial. Even if I love the other no date dial, more busy, maybe, but with a lot of charm.

Another reason is the packaging, which includes a superb aluminium suitcase, signed by Rimowa, and the second case back, which gives you the choice between the solid and the see through one.

Cherry on the cake, the superb Trieste strap.

But on a Nato, it is more tool watch looking, and very pleasant to wear.

Its superb presence on the wrist is the last ( nut not least ) reason.

A winner, in my book.

As for my second G.O, I am still hesitating between A Panoretrograph, for its orginality, a Rattrapante, as I am a sucker for this kind of sophisitication, a second Senator Navigator, with the busier no date dial, and... This bloody PanoInvserse I love since its release...

Vast program...

In the meantime, I enjoy a lot this " Rimowa ", since almost 4 years, now!

The one feature I wrestle over is date or no-date. GO's execution of the date function is among the best, IMHO. Cheers

Nicolas, I like the clean dial. I know this is a LE, any word from GO if they will produce something similar? I do not really like the way GO placed the date on the current version. Any suggestions on locating a NOS? I know, wishful thinking. Thank you, C...

To find a NOS one is impssible, forget it. There were only 100 made, and long time sold out. In the three last years, I only saw 2 sptting obn the different Collectors Markets, so if you see one, jump on it! Best, my friend. Nicolas
