I might also add,not only does the seconds reset function zero the seconds hand, the minute hand is also synced to the minute at the same time.Makes for a very easy and precise time setting! Very impressive watch on the whole, albeit slightly on the large side for some.Excellent & solid deployant as you have mentioned.The particular watch that I "played" with had a technical hitch as the second hand wouldn't reset properly on a few occasions but I'm sure this is an aberration and not the norm.
I couldn't help but often glance over to where the perpetual ceramic lay with the perfectly matched JV gator strap and black buckle.....but more of that later.
