Information, please! What is the FUNCTION of the DIMENSIONS of the rectangular indices at each 5 seconds/minutes on the chapter ring? Or are they just decorative?

1) This is one of my favorite GOs. 2) It's odd that the lume is beige in the light and blue in the dark.
I'm not sure what you mean
the chapter ring is totally clean. Maybe you mean the one at the dial? I believe that i just a marker for each 5 minutes.
