I have long been an admirer of Glashütte Original watches. As a movement junky, who wouldn’t be impressed with German engineering prowess and the brand’s history? The planetary gears provide just the right degree of visual interest in the three-quarter plate and the stop-second/reset mechanism is just so practical.
The closest I came to owning a GO timepiece was the Panomatic Lunar, but my heart went to the Reverso Grand Date at that time (my avatar would now be a smiling mondphase instead of a smiling sub-seconds dial).
While I don’t yet have a GO in my collection to post here, the new Senator Chronometer has caught my eye and imagination.
One piece down, only 468 to go and my Cal. 58-01 will be complete.
Don’t laugh, we can all dream and at least I black polished the swan neck myself! J
