Glashütte Original

Steve Cohen, President of G O operations in the US . . .

. . . and West Coast rep Doug Stoller were in Los Angeles last week to present the 2009 models, and I'd like to extend my appreciation for all their assistance in setting up these photos. I'll be concentrating on the highlights for this review and rolling them out a day at a time; today's installment will be the Senator Sixties Square chronograph . . .

. . . that seems to have drawn Anthony's attention. This design represents one of the most (if not the most) successful attempts at creating a recognizably square form that doesn't simultaneously generate a "boxy" appearance. The blending of the contours and slightly perceptible curving exhibit the deft touch I've come to expect from G O's design team. Let's take a look at the back side to appreciate the unique full sapphire caseback that offers a 360º of the movement:

Doug helped to set up this shot that highlights the positioning of the crown and pushers along the edge of the case:

Naturally, I had to try it on . . .

. . . good call, Anthony ;-) . . . cordially, Art This message has been edited by Dr No on 2009-05-26 11:17:01 This message has been edited by AnthonyTsai on 2009-06-08 16:44:10
