I recently acquired a Panograph. It takes about 30 winds before the second hand moves, and 60 winds for full wind. Is this normal? Seems like a lot of winding before it gets going. Anyway, I love the watch; it's a SS with anthracite dial. The movement beh... 

I think, like most automatics, if you give it a little shake back and forth, it will start immediately. I have a J.L.C. that works in just this manner.

But even if it were automatic, I don't know if shaking it is recommended. Nick
