Martin, thanks for filling in the timeline with such great detail. I'd love to hear more about the Tangomat movement if you've got the time. I heard an anecdote about the Tangomat's development, that long before its release, Nomos put a number of prototyp... 

.. i wasn't really convinced by this dial; but the more i look at it, the more it appeals to me ... i think you'll have to come over once again Graham, so i can inspect it personally. Some yaers ago i bought something completely different instead of a Nom... 

its a dial that grows on you. it has a lot of vibrancy sometimes looking a coppery orange and other times a mustardy yellow. i think you would like the size for your skinny wrist, but i'm more than happy to come over just to show it to you :) best #99

With pleasure- Richard Habring has modified the Valjoux 7750 movement thus enabling the seconds hand to jump every second. We both share the same fascination for the number 9....

...for the information. An adjusted movement that doesn't advertise it? A Peseux converted to 3/4 plate? A 35mm case? I definitely have to look further into NOMOS.

Ben, the Nomos movements are now in-house with 95% of parts made by them. it is only based on the Peseaux that they used to use and far better by the looks of things. adj 4 positions or in the new ones 6 positions without marking anything, not even the ha...

thanks Quan. i'm not really expanding, i just have a few watches that dont fit into my 2 main themes, a couple of vintage Grand Seiko's and some early hi beat seiko's etc. quality movements so this fits in nicely. best Graham
