Ah okay, the large 47mm Weems was made for many decades in small batches for many countries and customers. Ones with military markings is extremely rare. I am only aware of the USA and Japan having marked there issued Weems. About 22 exist in total for all military marked Weems (USA + Japan) have been discovered.

I believe it was sold in NY this year. It doesn’t have the Japanese markings on the back though but looks similar to yours.
