. . . over a course of ten years. And the first two have departed my collection.
What I can say with near absolute certainty is that the limited Rail will be my last new acquisition ever. And when my watchmaker retires, I'm swearing off watches altogether.

I would say there is at least one watch from SIHH and one from Basel that I add to my wish list so 10 in the last 10 years. From there, I re-evaluate and reduce that number to about 1/year. It's all relative though as someone with more resources would buy...

I have only bought a watch as a result of SIHH/Baselworld offerings —
that was the Omega CK 2998 L.E. in 2016 during the span of years that you specify. There is a strong chance I will buy another Omega this year — a 2018 Baselworld offering.
