I would suspect that this was gentleman last will
I see nothing wrong in that
If it was his wish it should be respected and not questioned
We have different motives, opinions and preferences in life
On other hand who knows one day after hundreds or thousands of years
it will make much more sense then it maybe makes now
and it could turn out as really important artifact about
moment we live in now and can't fully comprehend its heft
