Horological Meandering

Another NWA !

I obviously have waaay too much time on my hands and too many affordable-watch purveyors around my person.

No denying it’s fun, though!  : ]

The Junghans Meister Driver, driven by a manually wound Peseux 7001.

The watch is paper thin at 7.3mm and only 37.7 mm across, yet creates a good, elegant and attractive, vintage-vibed presence and mood on the wrist.

According to Junghans, the dial was inspired by the dashboard displays on the Maybach DS 8 Zeppelin of 1932, as some of our auto enthusiasts here may recognize.

As I’m not so much of an auto guy, I just know that I love the white, gray, beige colorway and the simple, combined beauty of it all.
