Yes, I have to admit that I dislike aggressive advertising, be it in the bus, the morning paper, tv, or the web. Sometimes, I even discontinued visiting my previously favourite news sites because of the advertising there. However, the ads I really dislike...

Nobody loves ads (Although, sometimes I enjoy the more creative or visually interesting ones.), but the reality is that everything costs money. Having a proprietary platform instead of using the more common vBulletin forum/chat system requires development...
