Driving watches - what do you use? π
In the meantime driving is one of the most ubiquitous human activities so one no longer gets specially lifted out or prepared for it.
Likewise, telling time is as easy as it has ever been and we still obsess over watches π So wondering if thereβs occasions when you especially choose a watch to go for a drive or if you have so called βdriving watchesβ in your collection.
A typical driving watch of mine is the Amida Digitrend. A mechanical watch created to mimic a quartz by a company without the R&D resources to develop the real thing, where the design choice made it quite drive friendly.

The Seiko Izul SDAA001has the ability to rotate the dial to whichever angle you desire, making it quite fitting for drivingβ¦

The M.A.D.1 had the feature of perfectly matching the Isle of Man Green of the car - otherwise useless for telling time enroute π

A watch I have always loved in the car is the Chopard LUC Chrono One - fantastic legibility. Much better in this respect than the Mille Miglia line π
The Giugiaro designed Seikos - even the Alien ones - are a perfect driving companion. The motorcycle versions with a tilted dial even more soβ¦
