Good decision.
I am going to congratulate you on your wise decision. No doubt if you had kept the whole package, it would just take up closet space for years and years, and I doubt it would get any wrist time against your Pateks. New old stock can sometimes be invaluable, but in this case, too gimmicky for my taste, and the plane is not even that beautifully crafted. (Or someone like me would have bought the watch just for the plane). There are some stunningly beautiful vintage Longines, this however, is not.

Congratulations! I do not care for the leather case and air plane, but the watch and that mechanical movement is só nice, compared to the automatic version that is now on the market. Very good buy and I do not understand that the watches from this series ...
