if that is the case then i've just read something about them which claims there were only 20 of them made as part of the introduction of the chrono-matic. that makes it a very very nice piece. best Graham

i had a standard chrono-matic from 69 until a few years ago and had never seen one like yours, but only last night saw another one on the bay. the story behind all the NOS ones popping up is that when Breitling were changing hands one of the staff or mana...

i dont think mine was 48mm. it was bigger than average for the time, but not that big. ref 1806 if i remember correctly G...  

Nice watch Graham, great to have it with the original bracelet. This is the same case as mine, they all used the basic same case, so it would have been 48mm. Weirdly this watch doesn't wear as huge as it seems, I've got pipe cleaner wrists but never feel ...  

The IWC AT at 42mm for a standard, round case shape and the Seiko 6105 for something a little different. -Patrick...

The low profile makes it wear very flat. Easy to show the time to the guy across the street. Looks great on a NATO strap...

Not easy to wear but I guess it was OK back in the day for divers....  

here's my Biggest & the Meanest ! but i LOVE it. a Flieger made by LACO . it's Diameter is 55mm .exact Replica of the 1940ies B-Uhr. a Total Production of 50 Pieces. mine is # 26 pictured here on my Wrist... yes it is HUGE ,unwearable and i don't feel com...  

ah Tony, i used to have the original Laco B-Uhr, but never wore it on my wrist as it still had the original strap which was made for over the jacket wearing. its a big mother of a watch as is Bill's russian divers piece (yes, i had one of those as well). ... 

it is Pointless to have a Watch sitting in a Safe Hibernating ,even if it were a highly Collectible Piece. i believe a Watch SHOULD BE WORN . the fact that i don't wear it but "at least" and it's plenty good enough for me to ENJOY looking at that Beautifu...  

Tony, i collected military pieces before the big boom so when i sold them en masse i did quite well, but not as well as if i sold them seperately now. i'm not sure i want someones body part, but we all need something to barter with best Graham...  

..and not too large for your wrist, and awesome looking too.. i think you will get many stares from the crowd not because the watch is too large for you to carry on your wrist but because its an awesome B-uhr watch.. Instead of you giving it 200 stares a ...

but I think you should wear it Tony. It looks great in that pic andwith a tee shirt and leather jacket would be fine for weekend wear in my opinion. Even as you say you have slim wrists, it is big for a reason with cool history behind it, so if people rem... 

which was sold recently as I feel that it's simply too big for my relatively slim wrists ... Now my biggest watches are my Blancpain FF and Pam 190 (both abt 45mm) ......
