Horological Meandering

I'm not really a movement guy but my understanding was that the owner bought up a large quantity of mechanical movements in the quarts era and sort of stockpiled them until releasing them...

 

in some very interesting cases and dials. The reason for the left handed cases were because they just flipped the movement on the design, because the usual movement had the date at the top and the second hand on the bottom. So using the same movement they could create a lot of different styles. I have this version still.
