Hi All, I just got taken for $12k by a scammer in the collector's corner. This person had listed a Patek 5712 Tiffany and I contacted him/her, and found out the asking price was $29k, I asked for pictures and details. I was sent pictures of the full kit, ... 

If yes, I had warned/emailed the mods about that user. First thing is to make this culprit public here. Second, report the activity to Financial Fraud Unit with your local police precinct ASAP and follow their instructions. You have the address and a/c in... 

Thanks. That was my plan of action. The user is still in contact with me via email. I'm surprised the mods aren't more vigilant about scam posters. I've seen quite a few, but only the most obvious seem to be removed.

Really sorry. He/she also tried to F***** me with the same process for a 5712 Patek. He/she provided me some pictures but without serial numbers, gave me some recommendations. For you, the name used for the bank wire is "Diane L. Clark" so avoid!!!

Gave the guy my number to contact me about the 5712a tiffany and was talking nonsense about a 12k deposit. I told him to send the watch to my Authorized Dealer which he refused. At that point, I told him he was bullshit. If sellers are not ok with sending...

I actually like the market section, but the amount of scammers and the lengths to which they are willing to go with their deception is getting borderline extreme (see my above post regarding the fake FBI email). I think they should just implement some mor... 

I think there would be no problem if the site ADMIN took measures to change the settings and apply some security measures. I just find it unfortunate that there are these frauds floating around on these kinds of sites, but we always have rolexforums.c...
