I appreciate the candid evaluation
Thanks Marcus for pointing out the flaws as well as the bright spots of the watch.
So often we gloss over those in our haste to point out the beauty of our newest toy.
And even when there are flaws as you have noted, a watch can still be our favorite.
I too have had multiple PD models but like your mythical friends also felt "uh ... what the ...?" when I looked at some of them.
And that was after I bought them! This IWC/PD is the only one I have left.
