... and I have to agree with everything you have written. I only wish good macro photos of the movement were available.
The precision of the dial, hand and marker finishing is incredible. At the same time the case design is very much based in the 1960s - the shape reminds me of an old Ref 866 Ingenieur I own.
The only problem in owning a Grand Seiko is that there is only one GS dealer in my country and all servicing and repair has to go back to Japan.
This is probably the only watch that I have bought new which has generated no buyer's remorse.

Unfortunately you shouldn’t get on of these if you live in Brazil.
Since it seems you have to send it to Japan to be serviced, and knowing Brazilian customs like I do, it’s probable that they would charge the owner for import taxes when it comes back. Marcelo
