Mine is also about 18 months old
and I still enjoy wearing it. I still get compliments from people who don't know anything about watches. I've shown it to some ADs and they just can't get over the quality of it. Only very few of them have even heard of Grand Seiko, though.
I've got the exact same model and picked it because of the cream dial. Alternate my strap with a stainless steel bracelet from Dunhill. Did a little hand work and filed the bracelet down to make it fit.

Unfortunately you shouldn’t get on of these if you live in Brazil.
Since it seems you have to send it to Japan to be serviced, and knowing Brazilian customs like I do, it’s probable that they would charge the owner for import taxes when it comes back. Marcelo
