I like where you are going with this collection.
Admittedly, I’m more a vintage person as I have an interest in a watches relationship to the history of horology. That said you get 10+ on style points here. It’s also interesting to see how the corpus of a collection expresses the aesthetic of the collector. You don’t see that in brand centric collections. For me, those are much less interesting for all the reasons stated.

With my photo set-up I definitely try to avoid (or control) any unwanted reflections.

If you don’t mind me asking, what made the Chopard the winner? Any thoughts on the FF? I’m particularly interested in your thoughts because so much of your 2024 purchases lined up with watches I had felt something for myself.
The Chopard is for me the perfect blend between an elegant watch that can also be worn for the more casual moments.
The proportions are great for my wrist and the movement is a real piece of high horology. The overall package really did it for me and I also feel that this is the best value high horology watch of the year ! And I believe that it is just good looking !! ...
