Horological Meandering

I think so, yes

Hi, I have about 20 of them. Here's a selection of my favorites. As indicated this past weekend in the Financial Times watch section, they are just coming onto the radar at auctions. I believe that's partially because you can get a nice watch for a very low fraction of what a wristwatch with similar provenance and complications would cost. I carry them in my front pants pocket - in the change area as indicated before. There are a bunch of pocketwatches in mid-size cases - say 45-50 mm that are big enough and sleek enough. And it impresses the heck out of people when you pull it out and check the time. Cheers Mike (wearing this Seiko today - the only automatic winding pocket watch I've ever seen; in its original leather fob from 1960's)
