In a post a few threads down, I speculated on possible issues surrounding watches that are obviously ill-fitting. A point I did not make there, but which your post elicits, is that as long as people keep buying oversized watches that don't fit them, the manufacturers will have no incentive to make equally attractive models on a human scale.
Would you like these large watches more or less if they were scaled down to a size that fit you well?

No one can wear the Panerai Egyptian
It's not a watch to be worn in today's age. Those who will buy it will probably use it as a desk clock or it will turn into a safe queen. I'd use it as a desk clock if I were buying one. - AT

These biggies are really miniclocks You can't button up your sleeve and they really bulge out. My friend says they're really outlandish....

You do have a VERY big and interesting collection. I guess you won't wear all your pieces or you'll have to change several times a day So, would you buy a watch (to complete your collection) even if you know you'll probably almost never wear it ?
