My Favorite Complications…
has always been a Perpetual Calendar Chronograph. It is useful and is everything I need.
However, I also like a pure Perpetual Calendar and a mechanical chronograph so in the end, I chose this trio.
I know there are too many different and winning combinations and some will mention the likes of 1518/2499/5970s, Datograph Perpetual, VC Overseas PC, or new Independents or 5070s, as top choices, no doubt but if you know me, being a “valued for money” collector 🤑 (hmmm, maybe this can be my new Avatar name 😅), I feel these fit perfectly with their reviews and history.
What are your favorite combinations for a Perpetual-Calendar-Chronograph?

This is much better…now I know why I put the Langematik in the middle. It doesn’t have deployant clasp so is easier for me to take it off the roll. ...
I know … that one is very nice and a dream but…
Whenever I think about the potential service cost, I just can’t swallow it 😅

Then when I start thinking about their service costs, I really don’t know if I want to deal with it 🤦🏻♂️ Just like a 5004/5204, 5370, Lange DS, I don’t really need a double or triple split. I am quite a practical person. Thanks 🙏🏻

A perpetual calendar is always my dream too, and it took me till recent years to finally pick the Langematik. I think they should look at it, similar to your IWC, balanced with the subdials. I did not know this model existed, very interesting and looks go...
Oh man....this combination is powerful looking, always a fav of RG+Dark/black dials.

You should check out VC too: 47112, 47212, or 47120...
The Malte PCC 47112 is such a wonderful and neglected timepiece.

For me 3970 is very different from 1518.
As I have a small wrist, the 36 mm size is attractive and when I was finally able to try one on, I could see that it isn’t too thick, as is often said.

It's been the Lange Datograph Perpetual WG for me for a while. Had that Langematik Perpetual and a regular PT dato before that. Best Andreas
The WG Grey Dial is stunning, and Pt Silver dial resembles the mysterious Datograph Pisa...all are great watches.
I just wished the moonphase window is a little bit bigger...and a longer power reserve (PR), although I now settled from newer 1815 60hr PR to 1st gen Dato's 36hr PR. Pt Dato is also very powerful looking watch, the iconic look, maybe someday I will swap ...
Fantastic and logical trio of fabulous watches. A perpetual calendar, a chronograph and a watch combining both functions. It is often said as a great compliment:
“Patek is Patek”. It also often said “Lange is at least as good as Patek”. I guess that sums it up pretty well. Enjoy! Best, Patekova
