Horological Meandering

Saw this advert in Financial Times a few times recently and I've never seen any Leica watch featured on this site. When is JLC going to start manufacturing cameras!? Apologies for poor picture taken from magazine's page. I like the red stitch highlight on...

My only qualm would be the thickness of the watch which exceeds 14mm. But this is actually a great value for money piece if you forget the name on the dial and look at the movement! ...  

What do the windows on the dial do?

I guess there was four or five models of Leica co branded watches in the past. This one looks the best but would be about number 58 on my list of watch buys for that price but not a bad effort.

It's very nice! Not the embarrassment I might have imagined it would be. Absolutely worthy of owning... by somebody. It's not about to shoulder its way to the top of my list.

The power reserve indicator is at 8 o'clock. The white dot indicates that the watch is back to normal winding mode instead of the red dot which shows when the crown is pressed (Leica style) which results in the stop seconds function operating and the seco... 

Yes the bridges for sure is what reminds me of Gronefeld. Have a great week
