Horological Meandering

As 2013 draws to a close, I was tasked with listing my 5 Best Watches of 2013. In the context of a guest commentator amongst a slew of erudite other watch ‘enthusiasts’, this was not an easy task. I have not seen and touched all the ‘novelties’ introduced...  

Just the fact that you could make a selection among so many is to be commended. Not just a few cursory shots but the full boat of details. Thanks Best wishes for 2014 Bill

An almost impossible task to choose the Best 5 of 2013. I suspect if each Purist came up with their 5, no two list would be the same. That said, I applaud your choices. For the Cartier though I would have replaced the MC with the Heures Mysteriouses Roton...

The Chopard is particularly interesting of a choice. Truly a superb concept. My personal favorite choice of the year was something a bit more affordable, but still more than an indulging. Available only in platinum, the Master Ultra Thin Jubilee by Jaeger...
