I have had a patek gondolo, and a similar breguet. I love the breguet, sublime.

The Breguet, while overall nice, has always bothered me with its date intruding into the dial so close to the 3 o'clock numeral. I personally feel that the date alone has knocked the beautiful enamel dial back a few notches. The movement of the Breguet is...

Find it a tad more versatile and it it a really stunning watch IMHO

It\'s more timeless and versatile than the Patek. Rectangular watches don\'t suit every situation as well, and the enamel dial is so nice!

You have chosen well! They both suit you perfectly - the rose gold of the Breguet and the salmon dial of the Patek also suit your skin tone well. For me these are important factors when choosing the metal of the watch. I would be partial to the Breguet no... 

It's the definition of a modern classic. You aren't wearing it, but you could wear it every day. It would look exceptional even with just a button up shirt and slacks.

The Breguet looks pretty bland to me.

Easy choice. It\'s THE dress watch (compared with the Patek) and fits your collection best.

The date on the breguet looks like an afterthought.

I am surprised at the overwhelming suggestion to keep the Breguet and not the Patek. I would not have anticipated that answer going into this question to the forum. I may however sell both in the end.

They interested me.... If history is a teacher, another traditional dress watch is not something that will actually get worn in the wild. Work became business casual (and quite casual at that). We live a very casual, outdoors life. Hence the AP, BP and Ro... 

What about that new VC overseas with the interchangeable straps? ...  

The new offerings from Richemont (VC) don't particularly interest me. The time/date Overseas is quite redundant with my AP 15400 (although it is more water resistant) and the Chronograph is not something I am interested now that I have the ceramic BP Bath...

Every aspect of the Breguet I prefer over the Patek, including the way it looks on your wrist and the fact it adds a little color to the metal in your collection. Keep the enamel Breguet!
