I think Watch designers did not really understand sector dial concept and are trying to cash on what is going crazy on the vintage market side.
Jaeger Lecoultre interpretation of the sector dial is a big failure in my opinion (those hands are poorly designed, the dial is not really sector per say but just takes the general aesthetics and fails at it, in particular with date and geographic complications), while the above Ferrier looks clean, but the length of hands shows that they did not understand what the purpose of the dial originally was intended for...)
I love sector dials, I just don't like the 2017 secotor dials
